Relaxation: Central Park in Springtime

Sometimes the best thing you can do for your productivity is to just stop working for a bit.  Last week, Chris and I decided to go out and enjoy Central Park and the beautiful weather we’ve been having in NYC, and it was a fantastic decision.

Every time we visit the park, we leave feeling re-energized and relaxed.  It’s amazing this huge swatch of green space exists in the middle of such a developed city.  When you’re surrounded by people and concrete every day, there’s nothing quite like time spent in nature for reviving your brain and dropping your stress levels.

Our apartment is about a 10 minute walk to the park, so we really should go more often.  It’s pretty impressive what a difference it makes on my photography and Dark Ink work just by making small amounts of time for leisure activities a priority.

Any other New Yorkers have tips on their favorite places to go in the city to just chill?
